As a recognized leader in orthopedics and interventional pain management, Azalea is proud to congratulate Dr. Michael Russell, Dr. Patrick Wupperman, and Dr. Ken Kaminski on their recent peer nominated awards from Texas Monthly.
Both Dr. Russell and Dr. Wupperman were awarded as 2016 Texas Monthly “Super Doctors.” Each year Super Doctors invites physicians to nominate colleagues they know to be exceptional in their specified field. From there, the award is based off of several criteria including, hospital appointments, board certifications, years of experience, awards, and other achievement factors. Only 5% of physicians in each state win this award and Azalea is proud to have two doctors earn this title in 2016.
Dr. Kaminski was recognized as a 2016 Texas Monthly “Rising Star.” This honor is awarded to less than 2.5% of the physicians in each state. To qualify, candidates must be practicing for less than 10 years and are subjected to a panel that looks at numerous factors before carefully selecting nominees.
