Tyler, Texas, Aug. 12, 2014 – Azalea Orthopedics, an orthopedic surgery, sports medicine and pain management provider in East Texas, today announced the addition of Dr. David Kummerfield to the center’s distinguished roster of orthopedic specialists.

Dr. Kummerfield is renowned leader in his field and is a great addition to the Azalea team,” said Azalea Orthopedics CEO Terry Pace, MBA, CMPE. “His expertise will be a tremendous asset to Azalea’s patients.”

A native of Tyler, Dr. Kummerfield is a graduate of The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Texas A&M/Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple. He also completed a shoulder and elbow fellowship with Dr. John Itamura through the Kerlan Jobe Orthopedic Clinic.
