Jon Redwing has been part of the Azalea team, working with Dr. Wupperman as a Physician Assistant, since 2013.

He earned his Master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2007 from the University of St. Francis in Albuquerque, New Mexico graduating with top student honors. After graduating, he practiced at a busy Orthopedic practice in New Mexico with an emphasis in Sports Medicine. There he earned a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Orthopedic Surgery from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants in the inaugural year it was offered.

His undergraduate degree is in Exercise Science from Arizona State University, where he completed his Sports Medicine internship with assignments to the Football, Baseball and Wrestling programs. Currently, he serves as Adjunct Faculty at the University of St. Francis teaching Orthopedic curriculum and as a clinical preceptor for Physician Assistant students.

Mr. Redwing assists Dr. Wupperman in all aspects of patient care including surgery and clinical evaluation of patients. Outside of work, Jon and his family enjoy all the outdoor activities and sports East Texas has to offer and are proud to be part of the Tyler community.
