Nicknamed “Bones Jones” by President George W. Bush, Dr. Jones specializes in orthopedic surgery with an emphasis on sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and currently serves as president of Azalea Orthopedics.

“I am very thankful for the privilege of caring for people with all types of bone and joint injuries.” Jones explains. “Former President George W. Bush has nicknamed me Bones Jones. Also, I enjoy giving recommendations that decrease the incidence of injuries.”

Dr. Jones also provides sports medicine care for athletes at several East Texas high schools.

“I have a special interest in helping competitive and recreational athletes return to their previous level of performance,” Jones said.

He enjoys playing the guitar, scuba diving, and skiing in his spare time and has a wife and three sons.
