Can I Play Golf With a Ruptured Tendon?

Question: I ruptured my biceps tendon two weeks ago. I want to play golf before I have surgery. Is that ok, or will I do more damage?

Dr. Foreman– You may cause some retraction of the tendon which makes it a little more challenging to find and reattach, so from a technical standpoint I would say hold off on the golf. However, the tendon is already torn so you can’t tear it any more than it already is.
