On January 7, 2016, Azalea’s Dr. Michael Merrick will be featured in Tyler Morning Telegraph’s series, Walk With a Doc, in the Health and Fitness section.
Dr. Merrick will be discussing healthy spines and the most common risk factors that contribute to spine problems. He will go over how posture, exercise, and various activities affect the spine over time, and he will review some things people can do to keep their backs feeling good.
With around 75 percent of adults having an episode of intractable back pain at some point in their life, Dr. Merrick’s tips for a healthy spine will help people avoid this common cause of pain and disability.
