Suman from Monroe isn’t in a lot of pain, but wonders if there is something that can help the gap between her legs that is often referred to as bow legs.
When I stand up straight and connect my ankles, my knees don’t touch and there is a gap between my legs even when my ankles are touching. Can I reduce this gap using methods other than surgery?
“The fancy name for what you have is genu varum, more commonly called bow legs. There is nothing you can do to change the alignment of your legs. Surgery is rarely indicated for the problem unless the amount of bowing is extreme.”
