Tyler, TX—Grace Community School is set to host the thirteenth annual Azalea Orthopedics and Baylor Scott & White Texas Spine & Joint Hospital Tyler Football Classic, August 30 – September 1, 2018. Six area high schools will compete in the Classic, which kicks off the 2018 football season for participating teams.
The Classic, which is in its thirteenth year, is rotationally hosted by Tyler area private schools.
Grace Community School, Bishop Gorman Regional Catholic School and All Saints Episcopal School collaboratively organized the Classic with Carrollton Prince of Peace, Canton and Garrison High School.
“We are excited to be in our 13th year of sponsoring the Azalea Orthopedics and Baylor Scott & White Texas Spine & Joint Hospital Tyler Football Classic. It is a fun event and a great way for players, coaches, families and fans to kick off the season,” stated orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist Dr. Kim Foreman.
Joseph Walker, Athletic Director for Grace Community School, is equally enthusiastic over the upcoming Classic. “We are excited to see the Azalea Orthopedics and Baylor Scott & White Texas Spine & Joint Hospital Tyler Football Classic return to Grace Community School! We look forward to welcoming these great schools and their fans to our campus as we kickoff the 2018 football season,” added Walker.
Tickets for the event are $8 for adults and $5 for students and may be purchased at the gate at game time. No district passes may be used.
13th Annual Tyler Football Classic Game Schedule:
- August 30 – 7:00 p.m. – All Saints vs. Prince of Peace
- August 31 – 7:00 p.m. – Grace vs. Canton
- September 1 – 7:00 p.m. – Bishop Gorman vs. Garrison
