Anna Willits is a board-certified Physician Assistant working with Dr. Rebel Huffman as part of her medical team. Anna earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Pre-Physician Assistant degree from Texas A&M University in College Station. Anna then completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston. During her training, Anna was honored with multiple prestigious scholarships recognizing her academic excellence, dedication to patient care, and commitment to the medical profession.

While pursuing her education, Anna Willits gained valuable hands-on clinical experience in a variety of healthcare roles, including medical scribe, Clinical Assistant, and Patient Care Technician. She also demonstrated a strong commitment to service as a volunteer in Galveston with the Luke Society, providing basic healthcare to underserved individuals. In addition, she spent time at the Coast General Teaching and Referring Hospital in Kenya as a volunteer with International Medical Aid. In this role, she provided preventative healthcare, medical resources to area communities, and women’s health care and education.

Anna’s philosophy of care focuses on ensuring every patient feels heard and actively involved in their care. She believes treatment should be individualized to each patient’s goals, while providing compassionate, evidence-based care that helps them return to the activities that matter most.
