Chris Rogers, FNP-C, is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner working with Dr. Andrew Hester as part of his medical team. Chris earned his Associate of Science from Tyler Junior College and his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Tyler. After 10 years as a practicing Nurse, Chris then completed his Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Tyler.

Prior to joining Azalea Orthopedics, Chris Rogers served in various nursing roles, including at a Level 2 trauma center and a free-standing emergency center providing urgent and emergency care needs. He has always had a passion for the orthopedic field and utilized his practitioner specialty hours to strengthen his understanding of orthopedic medicine.

Chris’s philosophy of care focuses on preserving and restoring functional mobility as the foundation of patient well‑being. He is committed to delivering evidence‑based musculoskeletal care, quicker recovery, emphasizing safe early mobilization and clear communication that empowers patients to actively participate in their recovery. His goal is to help each patient regain independence, prevent future injury, and return to the activities that give their life meaning.

Chris is certified by the Texas Board of Nursing and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a current member of the organization. He holds certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

When not in the clinic, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, staying active outdoors, and traveling.
