Lynsie Doughten is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner working with Dr. David Bowen as part of his medical team. Lynsie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She also completed her Master of Science Family Nurse Practitioner degree at UT Arlington.
Prior to joining Azalea Orthopedics, Lynsie worked for many years as a Registered Nurse in various clinical and hospital settings. Her care approach is strongly focused on patient-centered care, health education, evidenced-based interventions, and individualized care plans. When interacting with patients and their families, she is committed to professionalism, empathy, respect and producing the best possible medical outcomes.
Lynsie is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and holds certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Basic Life Support.
