Morgan Nix is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner working with Dr. Keith Fishbeck as part of his medical team. Morgan earned her Associate of Science in Nursing, Magna Cum Laude, from Panola College, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Magna Cum Laude, from Chamberlain College of Nursing. She then completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington.

Prior to joining Azalea Orthopedics, Morgan served in various nursing roles including as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse, a Nurse Surgical Assistant, Director of Nursing at Center ISD, as a Circulator RN and Pre-Op Nurse. She also served as a Family Nurse Practitioner providing patient care for a wide variety of chronic and acute medical conditions. Morgan has extensive experience in medical evaluation, diagnosis, ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing and developing effective treatment plans. Morgan’s philosophy of care focuses on providing holistic, personalized, and compassionate care to her patients while educating them about their medical conditions.

Morgan is certified by the Texas Board of Nursing and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Morgan was born and raised in Henderson and has remained in the Nacogdoches area for the majority of her career. She is married with four children. Morgan attends Holly Springs Baptist Church, and enjoys traveling, reading, concerts, fitness, watching her children play sports, and spending time with friends and family.
