Forrest Persing, PA-C is a board certified Physician Assistant at Azalea Orthopedics who works alongside Dr. Michael Russell as part of his Spine Team. Forrest moved to Tyler in 2004, where began working with Dr. Russell assisting him in all aspects of Orthopedic Spine Surgery. In September 2024, Forrest celebrated his 20th year of working with Dr. Russell.
Forrest Persing grew up in rural central Pennsylvania, where he completed his undergraduate studies at Messiah College. Before completing his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the Pennsylvania College of Technology, Forrest worked as a volunteer with Youth doing mission work.
Outside of work, Forrest enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, along with woodworking and camping.
